Customer Marketplace Agreement

Get 3 Quotes is a marketplace operated by Digital Physics Ltd. We help customers describe home improvement and trade projects, obtain and compare quotations from selected independent trade businesses, choose a Partner and progress the project through our marketplace.

We may support the enquiry, quotation, comparison, contracting and payment journey, but we do not carry out the underlying trade works.

Get 3 Quotes may:

• collect information about your project;
• help clarify your requirements;
• identify suitable independent Partners;
• request and coordinate quotations;
• present quotations or comparison information;
• support communication and follow-up;
• facilitate your acceptance of a selected Partner;
• facilitate payment to the selected Partner through Stripe or another approved payment provider; and
• provide general marketplace support if a problem arises.

Get 3 Quotes is not the installer, builder, surveyor, manufacturer, certifier or contractor carrying out your project.

Every trade business presented through Get 3 Quotes is an independent business. If you choose to proceed, the contract for the goods and/or services is between you and the selected Partner.

The selected Partner is responsible for its own survey, measurements, technical assessment, specification, quotation, contract terms, materials, installation, workmanship, timescales, certification, warranties, guarantees, complaints and aftercare.

Get 3 Quotes may carry out reasonable onboarding and verification checks on Partners, which may include business identity, insurance, accreditations, service areas, reviews or other information relevant to the marketplace.

These checks are intended to support marketplace quality and do not amount to a guarantee of a Partner’s workmanship, financial position, availability, suitability for every project or future conduct. You should still review the Partner’s quotation, contract terms, cancellation information, warranties and credentials before proceeding.

Quotations presented through Get 3 Quotes originate from independent Partners or are prepared from information supplied or approved by them. Get 3 Quotes does not itself provide the technical quotation for the works.

Prices may change following a site survey, technical inspection or discovery of conditions that could not reasonably be confirmed beforehand. Any material change should be explained by the Partner and agreed with you where required.

Photos, rough measurements, project descriptions and information provided before survey are for quotation and comparison purposes only and are not final technical specifications.

When you select a Partner and accept the relevant project terms, you are choosing that independent Partner to supply the goods and/or services described in its quotation or contract.

Your underlying contract for the project is with the selected Partner. Get 3 Quotes is not a party to the Partner’s obligation to survey, supply, install, certify, warrant or complete the works.

Before you become bound, the Partner is responsible for providing the information, cancellation rights and contractual terms required by applicable consumer law.

Where payment through Get 3 Quotes is available, your payment is processed securely by Stripe or another approved payment provider in connection with the selected Partner’s payment account.

The selected Partner remains the merchant and supplier in relation to the underlying project payment. Get 3 Quotes may facilitate the payment process and may receive a marketplace commission from the Partner out of the amount paid.

Unless clearly stated otherwise before payment, the marketplace commission does not increase the total project amount displayed to you as a separate Get 3 Quotes charge.

You should only make payment using the approved payment method or link provided for your project. Do not send money to personal accounts or alternative payment details that have not been verified for the project.

A successful payment confirmation means the relevant payment has been processed through the payment provider. It does not by itself confirm that a particular stage of works has been satisfactorily completed.

Some projects may be paid in stages. The Partner’s quotation or contract should state the payment schedule and what each stage relates to.

Where Get 3 Quotes facilitates staged payments, each payment is processed in connection with the selected Partner’s payment account. The Partner remains responsible for the contractual basis on which a stage payment becomes due.

You should not make a stage payment if the amount or reason for payment is materially different from the agreed project documentation unless the change has been properly explained and agreed.

Your cancellation and refund rights for the underlying project arise principally against the selected Partner and depend on applicable law and the Partner’s contract.

If you believe a payment should be refunded, contact the Partner and Get 3 Quotes promptly. Where appropriate and technically available, Get 3 Quotes may assist with communication or payment administration, but we do not replace the Partner’s legal responsibility to provide any refund or remedy that is due.

Nothing in these terms limits any right you may have to raise a card dispute or chargeback with your card issuer or payment provider, although chargeback rights are separate from your contractual and statutory rights.

Get 3 Quotes does not carry out site surveys, structural assessments, technical measurements, electrical checks, asbestos assessments, planning assessments or building-control inspections.

The selected Partner or another appropriately qualified professional must carry out any survey or technical check required for the project. You should rely on the relevant qualified professional for property-specific technical advice.

Any product guarantee, workmanship guarantee, insurance-backed guarantee, competent person certificate, FENSA certificate, CERTASS certificate, Building Control document or other compliance evidence must be supplied by the Partner or relevant scheme/provider where applicable.

Get 3 Quotes does not itself provide installation guarantees or compliance certificates unless expressly stated for a separate service.

If you have a problem with the quotation, survey, works, delay, workmanship, warranty, certification or aftercare, you should raise it with the Partner as soon as possible.

You may also notify Get 3 Quotes. We may request updates or evidence, facilitate communication, record the complaint, suspend a Partner from new opportunities or take other marketplace action we consider appropriate.

Our involvement in a complaint does not make Get 3 Quotes the contractor for the works or transfer the Partner’s legal responsibilities to us.

Nothing in these terms removes or restricts rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

The Partner is responsible for complying with consumer law applicable to the goods and/or services it supplies, including performing services with reasonable care and skill and providing required pre-contract and cancellation information where applicable.

For distance or off-premises contracts, cancellation rights may apply. The Partner must explain those rights and provide any required cancellation information before you are bound.

Get 3 Quotes does not guarantee any Partner’s:

• final price or quotation accuracy after survey;
• availability or completion date;
• workmanship or product quality;
• financial stability or solvency;
• certification outcome;
• warranty performance;
• ability to complete the works; or
• suitability for circumstances that could not reasonably be known from the information available to us.

This does not exclude any liability Get 3 Quotes has to you that cannot lawfully be excluded.

To operate the marketplace, we may collect information including your name, address, postcode, phone number, email address, project requirements, property information, photos, rough measurements, preferred timescale, communication preferences and notes from our conversations.

You agree that we may share relevant enquiry information with selected independent Partners for the purpose of obtaining quotations, arranging contact, progressing your project and, where you select a Partner, supporting the resulting customer relationship.

We will handle your personal information in accordance with applicable data protection law and our Privacy Policy.

Get 3 Quotes and relevant selected Partners may contact you about your enquiry and project by phone, email, SMS, WhatsApp, voicemail or another reasonable method you have provided or accepted.

Marketing consent is separate. Accepting these terms does not automatically opt you into unrelated marketing.

Information provided by Get 3 Quotes is intended to help you navigate the quotation and marketplace process. Unless expressly stated otherwise, it is not legal, financial, structural, surveying, planning, building-control or other regulated professional advice.

Get 3 Quotes will use reasonable care in operating the marketplace and handling the services we provide directly to you.

Subject to liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, Get 3 Quotes is not responsible for losses caused by the Partner’s defective workmanship, survey errors, quotation errors, installation delays, product defects, property damage, missed appointments, certification failures, warranty failures or breach of the Partner’s contract.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

We may update these marketplace terms from time to time. The version shown to you when you accept or use the relevant marketplace service will apply to that interaction unless a change is required by law or is expressly agreed with you.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the United Kingdom, you may also have rights to bring proceedings in the courts applicable to your place of residence where consumer law allows.

By signing, ticking an acceptance box, or otherwise confirming acceptance after being shown these terms, you confirm that:

• you understand that Get 3 Quotes operates the marketplace but does not carry out the underlying trade works;
• you understand that the contract for the project will be with the independent Partner you select;
• you understand that marketplace payments may be processed through Stripe in connection with that Partner's payment account;
• you understand that Get 3 Quotes may receive a marketplace commission from the Partner from payments processed through the marketplace;
• you agree that relevant enquiry information may be shared with selected Partners for the purpose of obtaining quotations and progressing your project; and
• you have been given access to the Get 3 Quotes Privacy Policy.
